Burgundy weekend

Wonda and I rented a car for the weekend and drove to Burgundy... a little wine tasting and driving through vineyards. Truly one of the most gorgeous regions on the planet! The French really got this living well figured out!
Hope you enjoy the photos!

15 days in Panama with the Wichert family... my cousin Rob wanted to celebrate his 50th birthday in Panama and we said 'sure!'

Chardonne: Caveau portes ouvertes

It doesn't get much better than a sunny, warm (20degrees!) day spent in a village celebrating the wine harvest by opening all the 'caveau' (wine cellars) to visitors. The village of Chardonne is perched on the hillside above Vevey (home of Nestle and home to Charlie Chaplin in his last years).

Some lovely wines although Swiss wines tend to be simple and best for the table.
It's the place and the vibe that make the day wonderful.
That's why we're letting the photos speak for themselves.
Sante!
